On Sunday, September 21st, I completed my second half marathon. 🏃‍♀️


The preparation went well, though scheduling training during the summer holidays was not always easy. On race day, nerves hit hard, and by km 8 I truly thought about stopping. My body didn’t feel great, and my mindset started working against me.
What made the difference?
👉 A great running buddy who encouraged me to shift perspective and kept me going Lien Verschooten a big shout out to you!
👉 Supporters on the sidelines who reminded me I wasn’t running alone.
Crossing the finish line wasn’t just about fitness — it was a powerful reminder that:
✨ The right support system can help you push through moments of doubt.
✨ Mindset can transform obstacles into milestones.
Both in sports and in our professional lives, challenges will test us. But with encouragement, teamwork, and resilience, we can go further than we think.
Grateful for this experience — onto the next race, on the road and in life.
